The Lore Loom

The Lore Loom is a worldbuilding solo RPG that uses an original card and journaling-based system to trigger the brain’s inherent creativity in the process of creating fleshed out characters and an interesting world. It uses a method of world construction called “loreweaving” to take a character-based approach to worldbuilding as an alternative to other popular methods.
What will you need to play this game?
- Standard 52 card deck of playing cards
- Journal, Notecards, or other place to record your details
- Writing utensil of choice
- A printed copy of the foldable quick start guide
- Dice: 2D6, 2D4 (or your favorite rolling app)
You may choose to use a number of external resources for inspiration. The first session will likely take extra time due to initial set up needs.
